• YOGA

Beginners: A slower yoga flow, this is a fantastic chance to move on the mat, whether you are new to practice or not. Through the session we’ll use the breath to move between shapes, always with options and variations to adapt the practice to best suit you.

A typical class will begin with breathwork ([ranayama) and softer shapes, before moving into the flow-based heart of the class with flowing standing postures, and ending with stretches and relaxation.

Hatha Flow: A traditional form of yoga, Hatha is a slower-paced flowing class, offering space to focus on the breath by moving towards and dwelling in postures that little bit longer to settle body and mind alike. Throughout the class, you'll build from the ground up, through shapes to generate warmth and to focus on the balance between movement and stillness – always with plenty of options along the way.

Kids: Drop your kids off or stay and have a cup of tea on our sofa while the studio transforms into a kids Yoga jungle. Lily leads this class. Age guidance is 3-8 years.

Strong Flow: A flowing class, Strong Flow blends together familiar aspects of a vinyasa yoga session with elements from other movement practices, including pilates and core, creating a more dynamic practice. Through the class we’ll use the breath to move between shapes, always with options and variations to adapt the practice to best suit you. Expect a chance to explore challenge and strength along the way.

Dynamic Vinyasa: A flowing class, incorporating breathwork (pranayama), playful transitions and relaxation. Through the class we’ll use the breath to move and to explore the journey between shapes as much as the postures themselves - always with options and variations to adapt the practice to best suit you. Dynamic vinyasa has the familiar structure of a vinyasa class, but incorporating further opportunities for challenge along the way.

Vinyasa: A flowing class, incorporating breathwork (pranayama), playful transitions and relaxation. Through the class we’ll use the breath to move between shapes, always with options and variations to adapt the practice to best suit you.

A typical class will begin with breathwork and softer shapes, before moving into the flow-based heart of the class with flowing standing postures, and ending with slower shapes and relaxation. All our vinyasa teachers bring their own style to this session, making it a great way to explore different forms of flowing practice.

Mandala Vinyasa yoga: A monthly, extended 75-minute session, Mandala Vinyasa is all about exploring transitions to travel in a circle on the mat – finding shapes to turn to the front, back and side to side. A yin sandwich, each session starts and ends with breathwork (pranayama) and longer-held poses to lead you in and out of the flow-based heart of the class. Each month's class is inspired by one of the four elements – earth, water, fire and air – which weaves into the shapes, sequence and breath work that form the flow.

No extra cost, book using a drop-in pass, class packs or memberships.

Community Yoga Classes: These classes are taught by our teacher trainees and are usually in the Vinyasa or Hatha style.

Self-Practice Space: An opportunity to use the studio for your own practice. A teacher will be present, but the practice is self-led. Whether you want to slow down, flow, or meditate - you are welcome to use the space and our props to explore what you need. The practice will close with a group meditation.

Yoga Flow and Yin: A chance to blend movement on the route to longer-held shapes, our Flow & Yin class is a concoction of gentle shape shifting and breath. Yin offers a chance to explore the subtle body and by remaining in shapes for a longer period of time, provides space to reflect on sensation, feeling and breath. Using props, you'll spend time closer to the ground, to go deeper into the body and tissues in a safe and supported way.

Yin: Yin offers a chance to explore the subtle body and by remaining in shapes for a longer period of time, provides space to reflect on sensation, feeling and breath. Using props, you'll spend time closer to the ground, to go deeper into the body and tissues in a safe and supported way. Despite its slow pace, there’s still opportunity for challenge to strengthen and stretch into the body, as well as time to calm the mind. It aims to target the “cold” tissues of our body, the ligaments, joints, fascia and bones by holding each pose from 2-5 minutes.

Flow & Restore: Our Flow & Restore classes are all about embracing the power of slowing down and taking time to find ease. This session offers space, time and support to unwind and recharge. Starting with a slow flow, often remaining low on the mat, the majority of the class is spent in longer-help shapes using a variety of props - bolsters, blocks and blankets - to rest body and mind.

Rocket Inspired: Our Rocket Inspired yoga class is a dynamic and fast-paced yoga class .This class follows a set sequence yet offers space to focus on the breath and the opportunity for challenge and playfulness. Arm balances and inversions are offered with variations to help meet you where you are on the day and to help you build confidence and strength in your daily practice. Rocket Inspired yoga is based around the structure and postures of the Rocket series 1&2, which in turn is based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga series…..if you are curious and ready to expand on your practice in a friendly environment, come along.

Core Flow: A flowing class, Core Flow blends together familiar aspects of a yoga session with elements from other movement practices, including pilates. Through the class we’ll use the breath to move between shapes, always with options and variations to adapt the practice to best suit you. Expect a chance to explore challenge and strength along the way.

Pregnancy: A calming flowing sequence of yoga poses to help with building strength and relaxation during the journey to parenthood. These classes are as much about fostering community as they are the combination of relaxation and movement and there's usually a good chance for tea and chat on our comfy sofas afterwards.
