Vin, Yin & Gin social
Saturday 15 July, 5pm-7pm
Vinyasa cultivates warmth and openness which can enable a deeper exploration of longer-held yin poses. Together, these two styles of yoga combine for a fantastic practice.
This perfect pairing is made even better with the chance to socialise with a drink (or two!) - gin or otherwise - and yummy canapés with your fellow yogis.
This 90 minute vin-yin practice will include:
Set a personal Intention to explore over your practice.
Enjoy a Vinyasa flow where we will move through seated, kneeling and standing postures with the breath to generate warmth.
Leading into a balancing yin flow, to foster equilibrium with yang energy. In Yin, we find longer-held poses for 3-5 minutes which provides the opportunity to deepen stretch and targets connective and fascia tissue.
Ending with restorative poses with plenty of props to deepen your resting state.
Meditation and pranayama (breath practice)
Optional massage in savasana
Followed by gin, and a selection of alternative drinks, plus canapés,
to enjoy as you relax after the practice with your fellow yogis.
