Vin, Yin & Gin social 

Saturday 15 July, 5pm-7pm

Vinyasa cultivates warmth and openness which can enable a deeper exploration of longer-held yin poses. Together, these two styles of yoga combine for a fantastic practice. 

This perfect pairing is made even better with the chance to socialise with a drink (or two!) - gin or otherwise - and yummy canapés with your fellow yogis. 

This 90 minute vin-yin practice will include:

  • Set a personal Intention to explore over your practice.  

  • Enjoy a Vinyasa flow where we will move through seated, kneeling and standing postures with the breath to generate warmth. 

  • Leading into a balancing yin flow, to foster equilibrium with yang energy.  In Yin, we find longer-held poses for 3-5 minutes which provides the opportunity to deepen stretch and targets connective and fascia tissue.

  • Ending with restorative poses with plenty of props to deepen your resting state. 

  • Meditation and pranayama (breath practice) 

  • Optional massage in savasana 

Followed by gin, and a selection of alternative drinks, plus canapés,

to enjoy as you relax after the practice with your fellow yogis.
