Graceful Transitions - exploring how we move from pose to pose
with Bridget Luff
Celebrate the rhythms of change in your practice and deepen your yoga. Explore how to become ever more present and graceful in transitions, those ‘in-between moments’, and discover the stillness that dwells within constant motion. Approaching our yoga as a moving meditation, we discover that there is an unfolding of one pose to another and a call to be present at every stage of the practice. During this workshop we find ways of steadiness and centering and learning to anchor in transition between poses and in vinyasas, which in turn can support us in our lives as we go through changes and thresholds in our every-day. Refining our awareness and articulation as we shift between shapes, we open up to bigger questions about how to adapt to changes in our lives, maintaining integrity when moving into new and unknown experiences.
This session is suitable for all levels of practice, from newbie to teachers there will be options to modify or refine the practice depending on how you feel. This workshop is ideal for anyone grappling with change and uncertainty in their lives (be it moving, parenthood, a career or identity shift or just the general transition of living at this time) and/or wanting to deepen their yoga and movement practice and bring more of a meditative flow into their practice and lives.
