Conquer your plies, master your ballet positions, and improve your balance and choreography! Barre has become one of the most popular fusions of ballet, pilates and interval training to build strength, muscle tone and flexibility. You will get a chance to tone, sculpt and stretch your entire body. There is no need to be a professional dancer or have any dance background.
In part 2 of the masterclass series, we will focus on the deep core muscles, lower body strength and mobility, with a separate part devoted to the upper body. We will use a variety of props (blocks, bands, weights, discs, etc.) with energising music.
In the stretching part, we will focus on deep stretching techniques to develop splits, hips flexibility and open chest.
This masterclass is a great way to try barre for the first time or to deepen barre practice by learning new movements and using more props.
