As winter begins to ebb away, and buds begin to tentatively appear once more, take some time to pause and re-charge.
As once again, seasons move into a period of transition, nurture the precious energy stores of mind and body as you immerse into an extended two-hour yin and restorative practice, followed by tasty treats thanks to our Magdalen road neighbours at Missing Bean Bakery.
What to expect
* Gentle breathwork and mudras to ground and find out roots to guide focus inward, settling the mind and body.
* Slow and stretchy flow to gently warm the body and release tension
* Leading into a generous dose of yin, longer held pose that reach deeper parts of the body’s muscle and connective tissues.
* Ending with nourishing restorative poses, using plenty of bolsters, blankets and props to support the body and find ultimate comfort and ease.
* Guided meditation to sink into a deep savasana to end practice.
* Optional adjustments
The 2hpractice will be followed by a selection of delicious Missing Bean bakes and a choice of hot and cold drinks to enjoy with your fellow yogis.
Leave feeling refreshed and renewed to wrap up the first weekend in February.
