Power of arm balances & inversions followed by calming Yin yoga

2 hours workshop to leave you in powerful peace

During the first half of the workshop, you will warm up your body through a fierce flow inspired by Power and Rocket styles of yoga and explore inversions and arm balances. By incorporating them in a sequence, we will break down Crow, Side Crow, Forearm Stand, Eka Pada Koundinyasana and prepare for handstands. During the second half, Kamila will guide you through meditation practice and calming yin poses.

This workshop is designed to give an opportunity to explore yang energy and develop strength and curiosity towards inverted poses, while at the same time allowing enough time for the body and the mind to cool and calm down through slow, floor-based poses of yin practice.

What to expect:

  • Dynamic flow based on Power and Rocket styles

  • Breaking down inversions and arm balances (e.g. crow, one legged crow)

  • Slowing down on the mat through seated poses

  • Floor-based yin poses (3-5 min hold)

  • Savasana with optional head massage

  • Tea after
