An Extended Practice - with Katie McNeil

Saturday 30th December, 2:30-5:00 pm

As we move from one year to the next, I invite you to join me in an extended yoga practice together on the mat. A moment for reflection, contemplation, and practice together. My personal intention for this practice is to help you carve out time to be with your practice, connect to yourself, and to perhaps ground yourself through the festive season. It can be a busy time of year with complex and competing priorities. I invite you to connect in and hopefully find a place to be in the moment and move forward with into a new year. 


This practice will open with a short guided meditation followed by a warming and invigorating pranayama (breathwork). There will be an extended dynamic asana (movement) practice where I will offer places to find both comfort and challenge depending on where you are at on the day. As this is a longer practice, there will be an ebb and flow in and out of faster pace movement and back to stillness. We will close with an extended savasana, a second shorter gentle pranayama and meditation.
